Purpose Of The Role- Commercial Finance Manager partners with Diageo commercial team and functions as well as distributor team to drive business performance through the provision of financial / commercial expertise and insights and to own the delivery of financial targets within an effective control environment.
Top Accountabilities
- Deliver robust business performance management process to ensure delivery of all relevant financial metrics
- Deliver a robust governance and control environment and an effective risk management agenda
- Provide support in formulating business strategy and converting strategies into operating plans with recommended prioritization.
- Identify all critical business opportunities, risks and initiatives and provide standard methodology financial analysis and insights to support decision making.
- Find opportunities to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of finance activities.
- Support finance strategy projects
Key Interactions
- Key business partner to Commercial organization, strong working relationship required with all key business leaders - Supply, Marketing, Innovation, and other parts of Finance.
- Act as trusted business advisor to all members of Commercial team, actively supporting the business in improving overall performance
- Build positive relationships with Distributor Partner organization representing Diageo Finance
Qualifications And Experienced Required
- Degree educated with relevant professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA) - not necessarily a qualified accountant
- 5+ years of experience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating environment and demonstrating commercial competence
