Your area of work
Reporting directly to the Head of Issuer CSD Services, you will be responsible for identifying and understanding both the internal and external needs of the business needs of the business for the enhancement of existing issuance products and services, as well as the development for future-proof innovative new digital products and services. You will be identifying appropriate solutions whilst at the same time managing the product development process right through and ensuring successful execution of such products and services. In your role as Project Manager Issuance Product Management, you help to grow the Issuer CSD Product range in one or more assigned product lines, especially in issuer services developments for the D7 digital post-trade platform. As a skilled and experienced manager, you have a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product development — from conception through to release.
- Initiate, manage and implement projects related to the Issuer CSD strategy of Clearstream, with a particular focus on the further build-out and scale-up of the D7 digital post-trade platform
- Identify and understand both internal and external needs for existing product development initiatives
- Identify appropriate solutions – evaluate related required changes, prepare Impact Analysis, documentation of high – level concepts, business requirements, and reviewing of specification and other IT deliverables.
- Work with Product, IT, Sales, Relationship Management, Operations colleagues to Identify, assess, propose and execute operational process improvements and revenue generating opportunities.
- Partner with IT to define architecture standards and guidelines for strategy implementation.
- Analyse and determine appropriate technical and non-technical solutions to both internal and external customers’ needs.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of proposed initiative and projects.
- Assist with maintaining adequate legal, tax and competitive watch infrastructure.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential products
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Your Profile
- University degree in business or a related field
- 5+ years professional and practical experience the financial services industry and product development and management, especially in the security services area
- A natural drive to take the initiative in order to “get things done”.
- Able to work independently as well as a flexible team player in an international environment.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills, numeracy literate, strong negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Spoken and written fluency in business English and German. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Good knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word,)
- Organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Proven project management skills – leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build productive business professional relationships
