We are looking for a Kitchen Porter Supervisor to join our team. This role will be reporting to the Head Chef and carries out the wash-up, cleanliness of still room, Kitchen, Carvery and Canteen.
KEY DELIVERABLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise all the Wash-up area of all crockery, cutlery & glasses after each meal times
- Ensure that all cleaning duties as outlined in cleaning schedule are completed daily/weekly cleaning checklists for all cleaning tasks performed
- Back of house areas are maintained in a safe, hygienic, healthy and hazard free manner
- To ensure that the canteen is clean and tidy
- Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
- Ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready
- To unload equipment and food from deliveries.
- Ensuring the storeroom remains organised.
- Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitized and all checklists are completed and followed through
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous Experience is essential
- Have fluent English
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be HACCP trained
- Great organisational skills with ability to delegate and follow up appropriately
- Must be flexible with regards to hours
